Waiving Taxes

Posted on Friday, February 8, 2008

Please share if your park district gets their municipal utility tax waived from their city/village.  It should be done through a city/village ordinance.  If your agency gets their tax waived, is your city/village Home Rule?

Friday the 13th: The A&F Section Meeting

Posted on Wednesday, July 11, 2007

This may be the least scariest Friday the 13th experiences ever as the A&F Board will gather to meet for their regularly scheduled meeting  (Section Meeting Agenda).  They will meet at 10am at the Kane County Forest Preserve’s Hughes Creek Golf Club at 1749 Spring Valley Drive in Elburn.  Lunch will be served after the meeting.  The cost is $10 for lunch and orders will be taken at the beginning of the meeting.  After the meeting concludes, members will have the opportunity to golf at the course, either 9 or 18 holes.  This may be the scariest part depending on who you are matched up to golf with…  Registration in advance is required for golf.  Please contact Monica if interested as she may have some slots open at this time.

Event Date: Jul 13, 2007 10:00 AM - Jul 13, 2007 4:00 PM
