At the IAPD/IPRA State Conference, Nancy Aldrich from Arlington Heights Park District received the 2006 A&F Section Distinguished Service Award and Debbie Kopas from Homewood-Flossmoor Park District received the 2006 A&F Section Professional of the Year Award.
