IT Roundtable Meeting

Posted on Saturday, September 30, 2006

Thanks to everyone who came out to Burr Ridge Park District (Thanks Jamie!) for the IT Roundtable meeting on September 28th. Matt White and Dean Comber of IPRA discussed Web 2.0 technologies such as blogs and podcasts and how they can pay huge dividends for park and recreation agencies. This is a technology that surely will pave the way for web-related initiatives in the future! If you were unable to attend, contact Matt White for more information and a copy of the presentation.

If you were unable to attend and would still like to be part of the IT Roundtable, please contact Beverly Wolf for more information. The first meeting had over 30 people, but attendance has dropped to approximately 10 people for the last few meetings. Let us know what we need to improve regarding the group and share your ideas by posting a comment !
